Vicodin in now a Schedule II drug
According to IMS Health, the combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen (aka Vicodin) is the most prescribed drug in the country. The DEA has moved any medication containing hydrocodone to a Schedule II drug (i.e. high potential for abuse.) Forty-six people die each day from prescription drub overdoses.
